Illusion

“Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they don’t want their illusions destroyed.” Friedrich Nietzsche

One morning you wake up to notice shattered pieces of illusion lying all around you. There are no wounds but you need to move slowly so you don’t cut yourself while sobering up. You are alone and start cleaning up the mess and waiting for the illusion hangover to pass. The illusion is now lifted but broken pieces remain in your heart. They cut when you make quick moves.

Take it easy, move slowly from here. Watch your mind because it keeps creating illusions and after it does that, it compels you to convince others that there are green, white, blue and yellow shirts.

And wisdom is to know the difference.
